It takes a great deal of courage and faith to answer God’s call on your life when you feel so inadequately equiped for the task. But that is all God is asking for—our courage and our faith! If we obey the call, He WILL equip us with whatever we need to accomplish the task.
_ Read Exodus 4:10-17.
o What is Moses’ objection when God calls him into service?
o What does God promise to do for Moses in v.12?
o When Moses still objects, God becomes angry with him but what does He say He has already given Moses?? (v.14)
o What can Aaron do for Moses’ problem? (vv.15-17)

o What is Moses’ objection initially to God’s call?
o What does God tell Moses that he has that will get people to listen to him?
o Was Moses equipped to handle the call God gave before or after t he call?

How does God equip according to these two verses?
Consider also the disciples when they were called. Jesus said, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.”
o The command to the disciples is what?
o The promise if they obey that command is what?
This is only the tip of the iceberg. Throughout scripture, God gives examples of His calling and then equipping.
