The second chapter of the book of Jonah is perhaps the most fascinating in all scripture. Leaving behind the narrative action of Chapter 1, we are suddenly thrust into the mind of a rebellious prophet as he pleads with God to help him escape from the bowels of the fish. In these ten verses of Chapter 2, we are privy to the innermost thoughts of a man coming face-to-face with his own death who then lives to tell about it.

Our objective this week is to learn all we can about Jonah and the manner in which he faces death.
