Can You Possibly Help?
When the economy is not healthy—or even when people are simply talking about its not being healthy—giving to charitable organizations suffers. Word Among Us Ministries is no different from the rest, and we are tightening our belt wherever we can. I know many of you are feeling the effects of restricted resources as well. With God’s help, however, we know that we can make it through these rough times and reach the sun that is shining through on the other side.
The major recipient of the monies and energies of our ministry are funneled through Philip’s ministry in Southeast Asia to carry the Gospel into the remote areas of that part of the world. So far, we’ve been able to maintain our level of support for Philip, but he has suffered from loss of incomes from other sources. The major contributor to the upkeep and support for the students at his Yangon Grace Fellowship Bible College has suffered a debilitating injury and been forced to discontinue sending funds for support. In order to keep these young people at their studies, someone must step up to the plate, and unfortunately Word Among Us Ministries is giving just about everything it has to support the evangelistic efforts over there.
Is there any way that you can help us help Philip keep the Bible College open?
