Our Next Mission
January 1, 2010, Susan and Gail will start the New Year with a very long plane ride—to a remote area in Southeast Asia. This is a new destination for them, so there are more unknowns to deal with than usual. Please pray for their safe travel and protection from illness and accident. Pray for an effective teaching and a receptive audience. Pray that all the pastors that God wants in attendance will be there, and pray that the teaching on how to study the Bible inductively will be transferable to their culture so that these pastors can pass it on to the people they minister to.
We want to thank all of you who have so generously supplied support for this trip. We are going to be able to give a nice gift to Philip’s ministry to help insure that his work will continue a long time after we leave to come back home. More information will be available in our report that we will mail out to contributors upon our return.
As the New Year approaches, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May 2010 be a year when God’s work progresses far beyond our wildest dreams and hopes! Keep your eyes (and ears) open for how He plans to incorporate your efforts into His plans.
