Gail and Susan visited Myanmar in November and led a new seminar for married couples on God’s Design for Marriage.
Approximately 80 people attended. Many were couples who traveled long distances from the remote areas. We have been asked to bring this same seminar to the Taungi Gyi area in the future.
In December, Philip took eleven students to areas in the far western part of the country. It was a tough, bumpy, dusty trek over almost impassable mountainous roads. Philip refers to the trip as the hardest one he has ever made.
It all began when the senior students—on their own—began raising a collection for a mission trip. When Philip heard of what they were doing, he came alongside and helped the students reach their goal. We are pleased to have been a part of that help.
The team’s first destination took three days to reach by truck. It was an area in the far remote areas where Philip and the other leaders had never ventured before. They preached at three villages with an attendance in excess of 200 at just the first two.
Their efforts spanned the period from December 19th through the 31st. Could there ever be a better way to spend Christmas Day!
God used two students at a small Bible school to take their teachers to remote areas where they had never been. Who will God use this year to take you into unknown territories?
How will you answer that call?
